BFF: Best Friend Friday ~ All Star Son

I am a night owl. It is pitifully sad how hard it is for me to get up in the morning. Sometimes, I could cry around 4 pm I am so tired, but by 8pm, I get my second wind and if I am not in bed by eleven, I am up until 2am. So it is 1am Friday and I am up cleaning and I remembered I left my purse in my unlocked car. I go out front and look what I found in our yard!
Our Little League puts your sign in your yard late at night so you and your neighbors see it in the morning. It is a big deal around here. This is the first year Jacob is eligible for All-Stars and yet they do not pick many nine year olds for the 9-10 yr old team.

Of course, this is the weekend my three older boys are camping with my family (I do not camp, my idea of roughing-it is eating off a paper plate on the lanai) so there shall be drama when DH finds out Jacob is going to miss the first two practices. This is the bad thing about the “surprise” of waking up to your sign. You do not know when the signs are to be delivered and when practice starts. So you make plans! Ahh!!!
